The Challenge
Inspira Health, upon completion of the new 465,000 square-foot hospital in Mullica Hill, wanted to relocate operations from their current facility in Woodbury to the new 210-room facility. In order to minimize impact to operations and patients, the move was to be completed over one weekend with pre-moves occurring the week prior. The move would also impact active care areas, including sterile environments and patient areas.
The Solution
Wayne Moving & Storage assigned a project manager to familiarize himself with the hospital, its staff, and the challenges of the project prior to the move week. Once a move plan was established, crews were scheduled and assigned in coordination with hospital leadership to move what we could prior to the move weekend. Once the move weekend arrived, Wayne supplied the resources and manpower needed over multiple shifts on both Saturday and Sunday to ensure hospital operations were relocated prior to the Monday opening.
The Result
The project was accomplished on-time and on-budget, with the Hospital opening as scheduled and care for patients going uninterrupted. All sterile environments and equipment were maintained and all hospital supplies were relocated and unpacked quickly and accurately.
